This newspaper project marked our class’s first real step into the world of design. It was an intimidating introduction, but also the moment that sparked a passion I didn’t know I had. The assignment was to create a new album cover—but with a twist: we had only the length of a single song to complete the entire design. The time constraint alone was challenging, but what made it even more difficult for me was that I had never used Adobe InDesign before. At the time, I didn’t even know how to navigate the software, let alone design something creative under pressure.
